He gained a passion for writing while he was in the fourth grade; back when he used rhymes and lyrics as a tool for expressing himself. In high school it grew into poetry. There was a lot of other writing in between high school and the time Kevin turned 25 which is when he wrote his first novel entitled "Hood Struggle." Hood Struggle was published in October, 2013. In November, 2014 he opened a company called A.R. Publications, LLC (America's Rawest Publications, LLC) in which he plans to introduce the raw and uncut literature in the United States.
