City Palace

Jagdish temple
Jagdish temple – It is a worth-visiting temple in Udaipur renowned for the Indo-Aryan architecture style which is unique and extra-ordinary. It also enjoys the status of largest position amongst other scared temples in this city. Maharana Jagat Singh, a fantastic ruler was erected this temple in the year of 1651. In this temple, Lord Vishnu (Laxmi Narayan), the protector of the world is worshipped.
Architecturally, this three-storied temple is quite simple but lavishly designed. It has delightfully imprinted stakes, adorned ceilings, decorated partitions and abundant corridors. About 1.5 million rupees ere incurred in its total construction. It comprises a shikar around 79 feet high which is flourished with numerous sculptors of elephants, dancers, musicians and horsemen etc.
Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends)
Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends) – Saheliyon-ki-Bari is the loveliest garden of Udaipur, also named as 'Garden of the Maids of Honor.’ It is said that it is once strolled by royal ladies. The extensive lawns and shady walks are the pretty sights to behold that are situated on the edges of the Fateh Sagar Lake. In the 18th century, it was built by Maharana Sangram Singh as a cool summer retreat for forty-eight young ladies.
Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) – Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum is an important destination in Udaipur, illustrating the excellent displays of folk articles of Rajasthan. It encompasses a gallery of rural dresses, jewelry, typical musical instruments, sculptors, masks, puppets etc. It is perfectly sited amidst the complexof Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal in the heart of the city.
Pratap Memorial
Pratap Memorial – It is a remarkable must-see attraction of Udaipur, situated at Gangori Ghat on the riverside of Lake Pichola. It is an elegant building, noted for housing hundred rooms and a gallery of colorful costumes and contemporary art. Prime Minister of Mewar, Amir Chand Badwa was established it in the nineteenthcentury. The interior of this Haveli is embellished with alluring glass and mirror work. It also contains beautiful painting of Mewar Painting on the walls.
Lake Pichola
On Lake Pichola, you can enjoy a boat ride at evening while setting the sun. The view of lake is beyond imagination. The boat ride in the pristine blue waters of the Lake Pichola lets you enjoy tremendous sightseeing spots of Udaipur. This magnetizing lake is encircled by rolling hills that offers the panoramic views of lake to witness. Amidst the lake, one will see beautiful island palaces- Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir. Maharaja Jagjit Singh was the founder of these two magnificent islands.
